Privacy

We keep nothing you type. Anything sent goes only where you choose to send it, such as an email to yourself or a tender to the board. Your answers stay in your browser.

What stays on your device

Your answers, and the brief or tender built from them, are kept in this browser’s local storage. There is no account and no login. Clear the site data and they are gone.

About 35 questions touch sensitive matters, such as security incidents and land disputes. Each is tagged “stays on this device”. Those answers are never sent anywhere and are left out of the emailed copy. If you restore from an emailed file, you are asked them again.

The emailed copy

“Email it to me” in the Conversation sends a copy to the address you type, and only to that address. Nothing goes to the Nordic Blockchain Association or to anyone you did not name.

The server builds the email, hands it to the mail service of the web host (IONOS) and does not keep or count it. The only thing it holds is a temporary file per network address, which is hashed, with the times of recent sends so the server can limit abuse.

The saved progress file

“Save my progress” downloads a file to your device. It holds everything, including the sensitive answers, and it is not encrypted. Keep it somewhere only you and the colleagues you choose can read it.

Voice

Speaking is optional. The first time you use the microphone, your browser downloads a small speech model once. The code comes from cdn.jsdelivr.net and the model, about 40 MB, from huggingface.co. Those two hosts see an ordinary download request from your browser, as any website would. They receive nothing you say.

Your speech is turned into text inside the page. No audio is sent or saved. If the model cannot load, the page falls back to typing.

No analytics

The site has no analytics and no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own. The web host keeps ordinary server logs of requests under its own terms.

The feedback note

At the end of the brief there is an optional box, “Tell us how it went”. If you send it, the text you typed is emailed to contact@nordicblockchain.com, with jakob@nordicblockchain.com and matt@nordicblockchain.com in copy. No answers or organisation details are added, and the server does not store the note. It keeps the same kind of temporary rate-limit file as above.

The tender board

The tender board is a separate service with its own privacy notice: tenders/privacy.html. Read it before you publish a tender. The operator of this site, Matthew Breen, is responsible for the board. It stores the tender text you choose to publish, the reply address until 30 days after the deadline, a scrambled code made from that address, and a note that a response was passed on. It stores no supplier accounts or supplier email addresses. Email alerts for suppliers are sent by the Nordic Blockchain Association from its own mailing list, under its own privacy notice.
